Rev. P. Kimberleigh Jordan, PHD, Preaching

The Rev. P. Kimberleigh Jordan, PhD is associate professor in the practice of religion and the arts and director of Craig Chapel at the Theological School of Drew University in Madison, NJ. A native of North Carolina, she holds the PhD in Performance Studies (concentrations: religion, dance and black studies) from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, as well as degrees from Union Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and the University of NC at Chapel Hill (A.B). Formerly a professional dancer, Jordan has performed at the Metropolitan Opera in Porgy and Bess. Jordan was ordained in the United Church of Christ to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament and has served on the ministerial staff of Marble Collegiate Church and of the Riverside Church.
