In witnessing to God’s call for justice, human dignity, inclusiveness and equity of all people the Mission and Social Justice Ministry of The Fort Washington Collegiate Church is committed to serving the world in ways that provide measurable and sustainable difference locally, nationally and internationally. As a Christian community, the Mission and Social Justice Ministry also endeavors to provide access to comprehensive social services for those in economic and social crisis. Toward these ends, the ministry is responsible for the benevolence, service and social justice ministries of the Church.
You Matter is the overarching paradigm of The Fort Washington Collegiate Church’s Social Justice Ministries. The Fort Washington Collegiate Church is a place of diversity, hospitality and grace. This means we open our doors to everyone and invite them to make this their spiritual home and to utilize their gifts in leadership regardless of race, sexual orientation, or social and economic status.
