Women's Annual Retreat

Adult Ministries - Women's Retreat At Fort Washington, we recognize we are called to take care of ourselves in order to take care of others, and be the people that God calls us to be. The FWCC Women’s Retreat is an annual event that allows the adult women of Fort Washington of all ages to take time out of their hectic schedules and come together as sisters in Christ, to connect with God and with one another while finding rest and nourishment for their minds, bodies and spirits. Through prayer, meditation, relaxation, workshops led by exceptional facilitators, group discussions, inspiring music and shared mealtimes, opportunities abound for growth, bonding and spiritual nourishment. The retreat is a one-day event held at a venue that inspires spiritual self care, and are open to women of the church and their sister-friend guests.

Don’t forget to sign up to attend our 3rd Annual Women's Retreat on Saturday, April 28, 2012.  We will, once again, offer a wonderfully refreshing, prayerful, meditative, and spiritually nourishing time at The Crystal Springs Resort and Spa in Vernon, New Jersey.  All women in the Fort Washington Church family are welcome to attend.  The cost is $80.00, (and was due March 25). Payment can made at the church office.  Donations are also being accepted to be used as partial scholarships so all women who wish to can attend.  Contact Rev. Lorena Parrish for more details.
