We recognize we are called to take care of ourselves in order to take care of others, and be the people that God calls us to be. The FWCC Women’s Retreat is an annual event that allows the adult women of Fort Washington of all ages to take time out of their hectic schedules and come together as sisters in Christ, to connect with God and with one another while finding rest and nourishment for their minds, bodies and spirits. Through prayer, meditation, relaxation, workshops led by exceptional facilitators, group discussions, inspiring music and shared mealtimes, opportunities abound for growth, bonding and spiritual nourishment. The retreat is a one-day event held at a venue that inspires spiritual self care, and are open to women of the church and their sister-friend guests.
