Our Vision and Our Mission 

At Fort Washington Collegiate Church, our arts-based worship services are a dynamic blend of many elements, styles, and cultures. Under the direction of Chanelle Schaffer, we offer a rich myriad of traditional and contemporary musical forms, including gospel, jazz, rock, hip-hop, rap, Latin, Caribbean, contemporary Christian, traditional hymnody and classical repertoire.  Our multisensory worship services are regularly infused with artistic expressions that allow all the senses to be awakened and fed.  We utilize music, movement, dance, the visual arts, theatre, and film (written and produced by professionals within our congregation).

Artistic expression in all its forms is such a vital part of our church life that ministering through the creative gifts of our diverse church family is an integral part of our services—all focused on informing and inspiring worshippers to express and experience the presence of God. Through creative use of the arts we give God praise, and proclaim the good news of God’s love. 

We welcome you to join us on Sundays mornings at 10:45am for worship and to stay awhile after to partake in some wonderful fellowship.  You will be blessed by the experience!
