Q – I heard that you are open and welcoming to all people. Is that really true?
A – Yes, we celebrate our diversity. We open our doors to everyone and invite them to make this their spiritual home and to utilize their gifts in leadership regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or social or economic status.
Q – Are the programs for children?
A – Yes, we provide a full range of learning opportunities for children and youth through age 18.
Q – Is there a group for young adults?
A – Yes. YAC (Young-ish Adult Community) meets monthly for fellowship, learning and support.
Q – How would you describe you worship style?
A – It’s different, exciting, exclusive and expansive. We are arts based. Our worship celebrations are planned by worship teams which help us to explore a variety of ways to enrich our time together each Sunday morning. Our music is mixed and ranges from traditional to gospel to jazz to contemporary and pop.
Q – Do you provide programs for adults?
A – We provide short term classes and workshops for adults throughout the year. Our courses are varied. Upcoming learning opportunities include The Color Of Media: Race And Culture In America; Christians And Muslims: Sharing Our World, Sharing Our Faith; and Understanding Youth Culture. In addition, there are regular bible study classes and prayer groups. |
