WELCOME

As a church family we seek to be a place of diversity, hospitality and grace.  This means we open our doors to everyone and invite them to make this their spiritual home and to utilize their gifts in leadership regardless of race, sexual orientation, or social or economic status.  Our common commitment is to build a community of believers who are connected to God.  We are delighted that you have chosen to join us for worship and pray that you will receive a full measure of God’s blessing.  If you are seeking a church home, we invite you to speak to Pastor Morris about the benefits and responsibilities of membership.

SUNDAY, MAY 4

SEVENTH SUNDAY OF EASTER

Our theme is Recovering Smallness, based on Luke 10: 25-37.  Our time together in worship will include a montage of images intended to help us think about the question – Who is my neighbor?

Our thanks to the String Quartet that will grace us with their music. They are: Violin 1: Wei-Chung Chiang, Violin 2: Shu-Ting Yao, Viola: Wei-Yang Andy Lin, Cello: Kai-Wen Liu.

CHILDREN AND WORSHIP

As noted in the order of service, children are invited to join our staff of trained teachers and caring volunteers for worship and learning activities right next to the sanctuary in a child-friendly environment.

Children & Worship: Children, ages 3 – 8, are led downstairs to their very own Worship Center where they will hear bible stories in a way that allows them to enter into the stories and form responses out of their own life experiences using a variety of arts materials.

Seasons of the Spirit: Older children, ages 9-12, are led into the Fellowship Hall, where they engage in an exciting new curriculum that integrates worship, learning and serving.

Nursery: Our youngest children, ages 0 – 3, can be left in the care of our nurturing staff before or during the worship service in the nursery room also in Fellowship Hall.  Parents can then pick up their children directly after the worship service.

Children are always welcome to remain with family in the sanctuary as we worship together.
